Wine Advocate
Rich and full is proprietor Roberto Guldener's 1999 Campaccio, a blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 12 months in primarily French oak (the remainder was American). A sumptuous bouquet of smoke, vanilla, tobacco, black currants, and sweet leather is followed by beautifully-textured wine with medium to full body, ripe fruit, fine purity, and a long, layered, seamless finish. It should drink well for 6-8 years.
Score: 92. —Robert Parker, December 2002.Wine Spectator
Beautiful aromas of sweet plums, licorice and minerals. Full-bodied, with lots of vanilla and berry character, fine tannins and a long, fruity finish. Delicious. Give it some time to come together. Terrabianca is on a high right now. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best after 2004. 10,415 cases made.
