Soft, round and juicy with loads of up-front fruit, this pleasant, consumer-friendly style of wine is meant to be drunk in its first 7-8 years of life. It is dark ruby/purple and has certainly avoided any of the astringent tannins and holllowness that this vintage can offer, particularly for the Cabernet-based wines in Médoc.
