Trivento Reserve Malbec 2017
The traditional 2017 Reserve Malbec is fruit-driven, floral, juicy and easy to understand. It was produced with grapes from Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, with 20% of the volume in contact with oak staves. 2017 was a concentrated vintage because of the low yields caused by frost. The wine has more weight than it normally has. It has berries, flowers and wild herbs, a fresh palate with lively acidity. Straight, simple, direct, clean and what wines like this should be. The quality is really impressive for the volume they produce-no less than eight million bottles of this wine.
